Finding Your Kilowatt-Hour Use
Every utility company presents their customers kWh use differently. Here, find both general advice for finding your current usage from your utility provider, and more specific information for Green Mountain Power customers.
General Advice: The first place to look for your kWh use is on your monthly bill from your utility company. Sometimes this information is displayed as a graph. Another place you will be able to find your kWh use is by signing into your online account for your provider. Here, your provider should give you a detailed breakdown of your monthly kWh usage. If you need technical help, please reach out by phone to your utility provider who could walk you through the process.
Green Mountain Power Customers: The simplest way for us to get your energy data is to send us your most recent GMP bill. Green Mountain Power gives a detailed account of your kW hour usage.
Once located, download your bill as a PDF, or take a screenshot of all pages, and upload to our inquiry form.
Alternatively, you can provide us with your GMP online account info over the phone we will do the work for you.
